The band Linda Lou was founded in 2012 by a group of young experienced musicians. The band is performing in Germany and Northern Italy and won the third place at the International Country Music Awards in Germany in 2014.
In the same year, they supported the singers Laura Bell Bundy (USA), Aly Cook (Australia) and Wayne Law (Australia) in South Tyrol in 2015. Through various country festivals in 2015 and 2016 in Germany, the band expanded their popularity.
Since 2015, they have been working on their album "Ice cold beer", which was now released in March 2017. The title "How long" was released already in 2015, which was awarded as the best country rock song in 2016 by the Akademie Music Award in L.A.
"How long" was produced in Nashville, TN, USA by Tim Scott Production.
Their song "Nashville" could even reach the first place in the country charts on Soundclick (1st place of 67,000 titles).
Both songs are on the CD "Ice cold beer" which is a fresh new way of looking at Southern Rock and Country Music. This also reflects the band's live performances: powerful live performance and love for music.
Old classic Southern Rock mixed with country songs leave one of the legendary era resurrected. The band reverts to well-known songs from ZZ Top, CCR, Allman Brothers, Eagles and Blackberry Smoke as well as classic Western Swing from the 50's. But, of course, their self-written songs, which reflect the love of this music, must not be missing.
